I'm nonbinary and AFAB, did you still need someone for your documentary?
Hi, yes we’re still open to applicants! If you send a photo of yourself and a short description to pseudofutures@gmail then we can talk about the project :)
If anyone knows a good academic, be it a lecturer, teacher, author etc, who works in the subject of Gender, please put them in touch with us :)
Anonymous asked:
Even if it's just UK based how are you going to film all these people? Or are you intending they make home videos and send them in?
Hi, we won’t film everyone. Those who best suit the film, we will travel to and film
Overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback and people coming forward to be interviewed!
Please keep getting in touch, we’re looking at expanding the scope of the project :)
Anonymous asked:
how old do i have to be to sign up? and when will this start happening?
Hi, preferably over 18, and filming will start in the next couple of months. The film should be completed by mid summer :)
pir8core asked:
Can we be part of it if we are in Australia?
Hi, unfortunately just UK based for the short documentary. But we are hoping to do a full length documentary at a later time which will be international :)

Why is there a focus on afab people? That defeats your purpose of asking for nonbinary people and ignores transmisogyny in the trans/nonbinary community
I can certainly see your point, and have considered that.
Whilst after identifying as non binary, gender becomes insignificant, on the route to discovering that identity afab and amab people experience different reactions, obstacles, priveleges etc.
And so we intend to focus on the perspective of someone who was afab.
